All these definitions refer to basically the same group of people - a pretty large fraction of the democratic party (both grassroots and politicians) believing that welfare and similar programs should be kept and expanded. I don't understand how anyone can possibly deny that these people exist, that they constitute the liberal wing of the democratic party and that these are their true views on the issue of welfare...
