All very pretty, but totally irrelevant to the topic at hand. Hispanics will outnumber whitey in the very near future. Whitey pays more of the freight in taxes than Hispanics do, whether it's California or anywhere else. They make more so they pay more, but none the less, they pay more. White population shrinking while Hispanic and Black poplulations increasing.
I know you guys on the left can't get past the racial element, but it's really just a simple arithmetic probem, and the numbers just don't work out. At some point the tab comes due and the guys who usually pick up the tab won't be here anymore, and the ones that are left either haven't paid much, or they haven't paid at all. They won't be accustomed to, or appreciate having to pay more.
It's all happening in a shrinking job market. It's all happening in a shrinking job market where the few jobs left pay less than before. It's all happening in an economy where the hidden inflation won't/can't be hidden much longer. This doesn't turn out well for anyone in the middle and lower classes, regardless of color.
