California's Brown Raises Prospect of Pension Cuts in Downturn.

Of course they're sustainable, as long as California continues to rely on illegal immigration and a permanent underclass reliant on the federal government for social programs.

Say goodbye to Proposition 13 and any other way to make some dough. I do believe Nancy Peeloosly once discussed an "asset tax." Why not? Even a 1% asset tax would go a looooooooonnnnnnnnggggggggg waaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy....

And as Antonio Villaraigosa famously shouted, "WE CLEAN YOUR TOILETS!!!"

the downturn will be redefined as the revenue short falls to CA caused by the federal tax cut within 2.5 years.

Its sucks when your great state is run by morons who won't govern properly.
Brown is actually one of the more sane ones in Sacramento and he is Moonbeam.
As you tax those earning 6 figures to death... They leave the state.

1 percent of Californians pay about half the income tax and only about 30 percent of California's even pay income taxes.

Which is why the state keeps voting to raise taxes.
Chasing more and more income tax payers out of the state.
Its an insane system that must implode.

All citizens must pay income taxes so they feel the pain of bad govt and vote for good govt.

If we are all paying the same percent in taxes, I don't mind if we vote for govt paid health care. its the will of the people.

But if its freeloaders vs income tax payers. That system is Unamerican.

Surprise, surprise.
