I think what you are saying is all likely to happen. I feel, however, that I am going to end up paying my share of the bailout that must ultimately occur. I can't see the Feds allowing a state doing 20% of the business of the country to become insolvent. We are going to pay for California's folly and Illinois as well.

We have come full circle as a nation. Most people, American citizens, of this country are suffering the taxation without proper representation. We've had it too easy, for too long, and have lost the will to fight.

I doubt it. To bailout a state is to create precedent that will quickly spiral out of control. But I've been surprised at the levels of stupidity the government goes to before, so maybe I will again.
