California tells NRA to stop selling insurance policy

California has ordered the National Rifle Association to stop selling an insurance policy that covers legal costs for injury or damage from legally using a gun. The state Department of Insurance on Tuesday issued a cease and desist order saying that the NRA sold an unlicensed insurance product in the state. The order refers to the Self-Defense Insurance Policy included in the NRA’s Carry Guard membership program. About 2,400 Californians are policyholders. (Chicago Sun Times)

I don't know what you think is rocking right now?
This place was once a great place for liberty, free, cutting edge with a well run government and well protected state resources and open spaces.

Now it seems poorly run and over crowded.
Have you tried to drive around L.A. or Orange County?
Do you live in the Bay area? How is S.F. treating you?

Or are you just being paid 35 cents a post from a basement overseas?

I'm still looking for the NRA's clitoris and hole, but have yet to find it.

If it is any consolation, I will not be renewing my membership with them. Basically much of my contributions were used for creating a tremendous amount of junk mail that includes gun sweepstakes and calls for more funding. The NRA reminds me of a bureaucracy that it is out of control. I even requested that my new member gifts not be sent to me so more of my donations would, in theory, be available to either pro gun candidates or lobbyists on behalf of protecting the second amendment.

It is a bit of an irony that I still do not own a gun.

I reported Tony's low quality trolling to the Russian Internet Agency once via Internet letter in another ET thread. Perhaps Tony is a Russian, living in England, blogging about US politics and is an expert on the living conditions in all the US States he mentioned.

I wonder why Tony and other foreign posters are so active here on the ET politics forum?

Could it be they are trying to influence US elections?

Ah, I see Tony says a US state, but does not say which one? This triggers the next few questions: How long, why was that state chosen, and what is his employment status?

We are unlikely to get a specific response from Tony because he knows there are hordes of Right Wing, drooling gun bandishing fanatics out there who are waiting to descend upon him in our Apache attack helicopters.
