California passes Prop 22 in a major victory for Uber and Lyft

There was the MS state flag, minimum wage increases, marijuana legalization, and hard drug decriminalization on state ballots, but I think this was the most important ballot prop of all and I agree with the majority of Californians. The gig economy allows people to work when they want to work. The level of flexibility is completely different than other jobs. These people shouldn't be classified as employees entitled to salaries.

isn't spending money to incarcerate people for marijuana use or even distribution a waste of tax payer funds and makes things more dangerous?
Wouldn't we rather just tax the hell out of it like tobacco?

should something be a crime if a high percentage of a community does it and it has very little impact on others.

I personally, don't do drugs.
But, I have middle age friends who still get high once in while.
Why would I care?
Especially, if they offered me a joint?

Minimum wage = bad
Marijuana = bad
Hard drug use = bad
