California dreamin'

Absolutely Doc....

been here 10 years. 4 LaBrea Area, 3 Sherman Oaks, 3 North Valley (kids need bigger house)

I am solidly middle class and immigrant and I welcome the ethnic mixing. If not anything it has taken the range and quality of cuisines available up a notch. I wouldn't move anywhere.

About Colorado, It has undergone rapid Californication.

Quote from Dr. Zhivodka:

Then I will find it hard to hear you crowing about your desire to be there anymore.

What's the old saying...a ton of knowledge but no wisdom. One afternoon in car with me and you shall have wisdom. Wisdom far beyond your beloved zip codes.

my house in carlsbad shook very nicely.

it was the first one my kids ever felt. I told them they were now real Californian's since they were born here. (except my youngest.)

They were worried we would have to leave the house like we did for hurricanes in Florida.

Democratic capitalism is in crisis

In the Senate in what was the leading state in what was the leading country in the world we have:-

24 Democrats
15 Republicans
and

help may be at hand there is one vacancy !

It is widely reported that another major player from the fantasy land of Hollywood is interested in the job. The name of Mr. M Mouse is being mentioned !

Well that's a relief. For a moment I thought all was lost.

:D

My suggestion didn't make it past the moderators - oh well

Seattle is a great city....I felt at home there, as for Colorado- Denver(not great) but OK but I was in Colorado Springs...most of these places are problematic because of millions of ignorant, simpletons and total lack of quality in life......
Quote from QQQBALL:

You still don't get it, do you?

The California State Constitution requires a 2/3rd's "super-majority" in order to get anything done. It is the 3rd oldest running constitution in the world, behind Alabama and India.

It needs to be changed in order for the legislature to have even a chance at working effectively.

I'm just an "out of state trailer monkey", but isn't tomorrow the day Californians vote on the various financial ballot proposals.....supposed to be a watershed event. Comments?? Stosh
