This is becoming pretty common. I wonder why.

The No. 3 high school basketball player in Alabama died Thursday after collapsing on the court while playing the game he loved.

Pinson Valley High School senior Caleb White, 17, became ill around 1:15 p.m. while training with his teammates, according to his grandfather.

He suddenly dropped to the ground and was rushed to the hospital, but doctors couldn’t revive him, George Varnadoe Jr. said on Facebook.

“At 17, he was dead!!!!” Varnadoe wrote, adding that his grandson was an “honor student, very respectful, high intellect, excellent role model, phenomenal basketball player.”

You shouldn't be using cocaine the night before a game.

For the record:

These Covidiots typically do not give any follow-ups to their ghoulish troll stories that sudden cardiac arrests were caused by vaccines when in fact these trolls do not know the vaccination status of the person except for a person who was online recommending vaccines or bashing anti-vaxxers.

Just as bad, Covidiots do not say a word when the truth comes out...not vaccinated, suicide, drug overdose, or just congenital heart defect. Instead, they wait in the gutter for the next story of people having sudden cardiac arrests (it's very common in our population and has been a growing concern since the 1970s) to blame vaccines.

The above congenital heart defect is very common (not rare) in youths. Unfortunately, very few youths (especially athletes) have special tests that will detect congenital heart defects prior to it becoming a big problem while strenuously exercising, in a game, or in their sleep.

According to the American Heart Association, congenital heart defects (CHDs) are the most common congenital anomaly in newborns, occurring in approximately 8 per 1000 live-born children.

I'm just surprised that with all the money Lebron has and the type of athletes, his children are...he did not have those special heart tests for his children prior to his son's enrollment/basketball at USC because the physical tests by the University typically are very routine and do not look for any congenital heart defect.
