Calculating Costs via MT5/MT4

Hi all,

Anyone have any rules of thumb or sites they use for calculating hypothetical spreads?
I am trading via MT5 and can obtain commissions as they are fixed but since spreads vary how best to calculate a mean spread etc? Real tricky i know ...
I am trading multi-asset ... literally everything so all input will be welcome!
