Cable VS DSL

Forgot to mention that. But if you've got 4 different quote streams going, plus your trading client, most of your bandwidth is spread across several connections. This is *exactly* what a router like this is good at load-balancing. Plus the redundancy factor.

But it's true. It won't speed up that movie you're trying to suck off of USENET. :)

One thing though, after perusing tons of reviews, I noticed that some of them, especially those from 6+ months ago, were negative, saying the device dropped packets on a regular basis and had to be reset often. They may have improved their firmware significantly between now and then, so the only way to know is to give it a try...I'll let you know how it goes when I can get around to this. ;)

uh, how do you use usenet for movies?

usenet is a service offered by many isps...your mail client connects to a nntp server, and there are chat forums which are more or less topical, ie comp.lang.java is a forum on java programming. But people can also post binaries on to usenet, and so it is sometimes used for file swapping. I've been simply astounded at the sizes of some of the things I've seen posted in the movie forums, in what was originally intended as a text message board. Try alt.binaries.sounds.mp3.2000s sometime.

Nitro,

Some interesting perks are I had a French model decide to sunbathe topless about 20 feet from where I was eating lunch, made up for the food. Interrupted a young couple in the troughs of passion on the beach the other day, that was also interesting.

Michael

Sounds like I need to visit soon...
