question??? I just set up my back up with cable which runs at 2700kbts, which is faster than my main system using dsl, but the upload is only 96.....does anyone out there understand why this would be???? thx...OTL

Upload speed is capped by you cable provider.

Cox.net capped mine at 128k/s or maybe higher.

Agreed. Looks like your download speed isn't capped but your upload speed probably is. Call the cable co. Many can increase the speed for more $$$.
