Here's what I'd like:
2 pcs both networked together. Each with Cable as primary and Dsl as backup.
Here's what I have so far:
One pc (P2 333 Mhz with Win 98)
- 2 Network cards
- Cable is primary and Dsl is backup
- If cable goes out, I click on Dsl icon and Dsl kicks in
No problem.
Have a P4 2.5 Ghz with Win XP coming with 2 network cards installed.
I also have a Linksys router (in the box) from Verizon for the Dsl.
Questions:
Do I need two separate routers...one for Cable and one for Dsl?
Do I need a special router for the cable?
Will this work?
Neither Verizon nor Comcast will help me beyond getting initial connection.
