He is leaving because he is still in the Ukraine scandal crosshairs and that whole can of worms is about to heat up again and he knows. Countless sources report that more Ukraine material is coming and he reads the news like anyone else. Also- as wacky as he is- Guliani has material too. And Trump appointed Johnny Ratcliffe as Director or National Intelligence and Johnny is releasing more material that the previous losers would not release.

Everyone knows that the target is Biden but the other Ukraine related swamp rats will be caught up in it again and have to go several more rounds in the presse and before investigative committees. Colonel Traitor does not want to be in uniform when that happens. The first time around was more than enough for him and he has a chance now to resign voluntarily versus after the next round where it will look like a "resigning in disgrace" scenario.

Why the hell would be resigning now, and attributing it to Trump? Every power player and swamp-rat in DC is assuring him that Biden is going to be elected and if the dems are elected his career will not suffer AT ALL. They will probably give him a medal and put statue of him in the park (they may tear it down later but that's another story). Why would he be leaving now rather than waiting to see how the election goes? I have given the answer above.

Nope, as I said, he does not want to be uniform, when he is called back before the committees next time. Pleading the fifth or committing perjury while a uniformed officer if you are being asked about your professional duties and actions (versus a non duty related crime) is a quick way to leave the military in disgrace, so he is playing the martyr card in the last few weeks he has to play it before it gets much more complicated than that.

Tell me again why he would not wait out the election if Trump is his problem? If Biden is elected he will probably give him a promotion. Seriously. He will be back in the swamp intel environment in a New York minute.

He should be leaving DC. In cuffs.

Colonels are dangerous, even light Colonels. Even half-assed DoD civilians with rank equivalency and an Officer's Club card lol.

Its a weird combination of autonomy, power and relative inexperience with either. Nobody can fuck up big things like a Colonel. On the other hand that is where you begin to have real resources and authority to get things done so the good ones excel.

Nothing spells *danger* quite like a uniformed officer assigned to the National Security Council, ie. Vindtraitor, openly bragging that he was twice offered the position of Defense Minister for the Ukraine.
