BYD flags huge quarterly profit jump as China sales surge past Tesla

Is the car any good? That's a more important thing to determine than flashy sales and profit numbers especially when it's something made by the Chinese. You never know what kind of corner-cutting or flaws were there in the cost-cutting measures that they took. I feel bad for those people who have bought the car. They have just become our guinea pigs, our live crash-test dummies (hopefully not) essentially to demonstrate the quality of the car.

I am sure it is great, considering they did not design it themselves. It's a copy of a Tesla Model 3.

Oh it's a Tesla knock-off?? Well this is what happens when you open up manufacturing plants in China. Musk was warned. This year has not been going well for Musk. First the forced overpriced twitter deal, and now this loss of lead in sales. I hate to do like Dr. Burry to have to start to short the stock of the company.
