BYD....$22,000 Plug In Car....

The guy in the video says 60 miles on a full charge...the byd website says 180 miles on a charge.

I dont think people will be willing to pay 22k for a car that take 8 hours to "fill the tank" unless you get about 600+ miles on a charge, or until they make a way to charge it in 10 minutes if they keep the 60-180 mile distance.

A diesel hybrid would be interesting....

Actually 200/300 with reduced charging time woukd be interesting....would work for the majority of the population....

And the TATA Nano may be coming to the US....

Anything over $10,000 is now a big number....
