This will be great. Buying stock index futures to capture the overnight rise.Lets post some stats for all to see. The problem lately is we have a mixed market. Some nights the Dow's stock index futures will rise and the Nasdaq 100 stock index futures contract will fall. So we will meet in the middle and use the ole standby everyone's favorite stock index future ES.

Ive followed the stock index futures for about 15 years. Having a set time to buy into the close is not the most productive. So I may buy in the last hour at various times. The ignore feature is such a nice tool.

Nope, Most folks have no idea. They are programmed to be flat at days end.

Here we go. Stock index futures rise overnight 70% of the time. The trick is when to take profit.

Lately I have just stayed up most of the night. I sleep from 1515 to 1530 and again from 1600 to 1700. HAHAHA okay actually I catch a couple hours after 0100 and then wake up really early. Oh, and I sleep pretty much 50% of the time between FRI close and SUN evening open. NASDAQ has been awesome last week or so. I wish I had started trading MNQ at the beginning of the covid crash. Seriously, some good trends run overnight more often than not.

Gap up sideways....gap up sideways....over and over and over.

Gap up sideways, same thing over and over. Don't waste your time trying to day trade in the cash market. You will most likely just make your broker money thru commission.

I don't consider dow any kind of benchmark;
even though APR can be a super-strong mo for dow.
[ I consider SDOW or ddm,udow somewhat of a benchmark/but that's just me] Like one very profitable DOW derivative trader said ''dow is correlated to itself''.............................................................................................
