Clothes are for people persons, who needs them? Nice clothes should be comfortable to sleep in. If you trade from home you won't be needing many or getting much. Keep some in the closet in case you need to win friends and influence people (blowup/get a job)

Well, remember that almost everything you buy is a depreciating asset. So it's a balance between quality and cost. A $1000 pair of shoes will last you 10 years and look real nice, but so will a $300 pair of shoes.

Yeah, I only have one friend like that...childhood/college friend. She's a heiress. Now a single mom that never wanted to marry nor live with the father of her two kids...her family are living off their trust fund for the rest of their lives.

She's very giving financially to many charities every year and for 12 years drove a 15k car she bought used. She recently updated her car to a used volvo (wagon) of 10 years now that she's traveling more for her kids sporting events...

No fancy jewelry, jeans, t-shirts and shops at Walmart and a big coupon user at the grocery stores.

I think she would puke if she had to pay for a shirt that cost more than $40 bucks. Buys cheap, 2nd hand or used only.

For that you need nice clothes. And a personality, some manners and a decent car wouldn't hurt. They teach all this stuff in salesman class.

Nice car is optional. You don't have to be a salesman to have some manners and a pleasant personality.

Nice clothes are more pleasant to wear. They are also more pleasant to take off in presence of the selected few when that opportunity presents itself.

PS. Nothing against trading from home. Just that the reality of the world is that you better off starting with OPM if you actually want to make a lot of money

The main thing is that she has 'a possibilty',and can allow to buy anything at any time.But puking about buying a $40 bucks t-shirt is too much i think.

For me, i`d never buy cheap shoes.Anything else don`t really matter to me now, but the shoes is a very important part for me.
