how about posting some option strategies that you are working on? if you could do that; that may be the first time in this thread that something relevant is posted.

if you cannot or unable to actually talk strategies or even simple examples; then please do not respond to my question in any way. i do not want to know about why it may not be possible to talk actual or theoretical positions.

I don't know what you want. The group, as a whole, has discussed the coffee market, "zero sum game", learning to trade options, and, the most interesting to me, seasonal tendencies in energy futures.

You've asked questions, gotten straight-forward, well thought-out answers from a variety of sources. You then declared we are all wrong and demanded we proceed under the assumption that we don't know what we're talking about.

You did not back up your declaration with any facts. You avoided engaging in a simple logical discussion of how your opinion is incorrect. You're looking for vague opinions that you neither want to refute nor back up when simple facts would do.

I'm here for the occasional well-worded article, such as AAH's response a few days ago, and nitro's post about seasonality. So far, you've contributed nothing other than 50% of the posts mostly filled with, "Thank you for your reply, and if you're lucky I won't report you."

You even drown out the few who make an attempt to hijack the thread and talk about something interesting.

I am a newbie and would like to discuss selling puts for a living....I hear the Chinese coffee market is going to take off and would like to participate. Again, I am a newbie to options and although I do have some experience trading the ES (e-mini is redundant) I know little of options. I have nothing to do all day but reply with nonsensical bulls&%t (oops, am I going to get reported to the mods?!)....err baloney, so please, let us discuss.

Despite your apparent intelligence based on how you write, I think you to be nothing short of a complete social moron with no life whatsoever and a preponderance of unfilled time with which to type these long drawn out responses which go nowhere and accomplish little. Also, despite the fact that you obviously are not a "newbie" and do have some ulterior motive to all of these posts (I've not seen the other threads the alias participated in, but I do believe my fellow ET members, of which I do not consider you to be one, Derivman), I don't think you actually trade, because if you did you would be out making money and watching the market to come up with new ideas instead of typing all day to people who are frustrated as hell by your posts.

Good luck finding direction, buddy...you obviously need help of some sort.
