I think your best bet was to buy before the close.
Would be buying QLD, DDM and SSO for an early bounce monday.
I dont think the sell off continues, Im bearish but think next week they will find excuses to buy the markets back up to 13500 without a problem. Bear Stearns came out and said they are putting up $3.2 billion, this news alone could push the dow up 100 points on monday.

Levin's bill would apply to both publicly traded partnerships and private firms. The effective date for the change has yet to be determined. Rangel plans to hold hearings on the issue in August.

I'm afraid the market rebounds to the positive too next week(what else is new)?. There is nothing more I'd rather see than an end of the week June Swoon with the DOW below 13k.
Something really bad out of China Sunday night through next week would be sweet. Screw the Shanghai...like major chunks taken off the Hang Seng 97-98' Asian contagion style.
I'd like to believe that is the start of the perfect storm but I can dream.
