Looks like you are right again. Congratulations! Do you have any inside information or you trade purely based on your technical analysis or trading system?

Quote from S2007S:

I have noticed that the last 15-20 pullbacks have only lasted a day or 2, nothing more, and after each pullback within 1-3 days the markets were making fresh new highs again.....now if it were the other way around where the markets were making new lows, forget it, there would be massive amounts of meetings between BUBBLE ben bernanke and friends to stop the market from falling, but when its rising day after day, month after month there is no need to intervene, just like the housing bubble...... when housing prices were jumping 10-20% a year, they didn't have a worry in the world, they let it keep going and going and going and going, but after the bubble burst and housing prices started falling the first thing they did was try to prop it up by injecting trillions of dollars and introducing first time house buyers with huge cash rewards.... that's why this market isn't real, this is nothing but hot air underneath everything that's going on today, from equities, to housing prices to commodities. It will continue as long as it can and then one day when you least expect it the bottom will fall out and the next crisis will begin.
You just said everything that I have been thinking for a long time.
I guess what people can do is just to suffer and becomer poorer and poorer. But can this last forever? Can they just inject trillions of money everytime the crisis happens? One day, when all the people don't have the money to buy the food(now 1/6 Americans use food stamp), can they save the world again by printing money?

S2007S is an absurd poster who likely has ZERO money invested in securities at any point. He's been posting this shit for years, through all sort of short term cycles in this broad bull market since 2009.

Reality is that the government rarely buys securities; it did in 2009 to save bankrupt entities like Chrysler. Markets went way up since 2009 for two reasons :

1. The crash in 2008/2009 was like almost all major crashes
severely overdone due to panic.

2. Many multi-nationals are extremely profitable and
some are cash rich.

You can claim the current world economy is unfair and probably you are right ( especially in the US ). However, don't confuse that issue with the decision as to whether you want to own a piece of that action or not. By all known metrics, anyone who decided securities were fairly valued in spring 2009 was being emotional and not a smart detached investor.

I agree with you that US markets are in all likelihood close to done for now and likely summer is the wrong time to be in them. However, I state this on a rough valuation basis with seasonal awareness. Not on emotional rhetoric based on largely irrational conspiracy like thesis, and not as some random guessing game on when to short the broader market.

Close almost all my long positions, leave 2 contracts with stop loss set on break even, just for fun and lottery tickets if the bull has second legs :)

Time now is everything 5/2.
