Buy High Sell Higher (Equities)

Bought QNTusdt
Looks like a stage 2 breakout.

Got stopped out because the spread is wide.
The price didn't make a new low though ..

I am not trading much therefore liquidity ain't much of an issue.
You will find that it is if a big player bails. You have already mentioned the spread.

Bought IMUX

Lost a bunch of money since September buying breakouts on the daily.
Equity high was 5200$ now .. 4400 thanks to my rookie trade.

What criteria on your don't buy unless checklist did you check off?

What do you mean ?

Bought it because it's showing momentum on the hourly,
I like the hourly when conditions aren't bullish.
Broke out 9.63 on good relative volume.
After it had a little reaction.

That's it.

Looks like sh*t on the weekly, daily.
But I think it can double from here.

Part of my process is a set of criteria where I don't buy unless the majority of them are met.

Showing momentum on the hourly would be one of your criteria.
Breakout on volume another.

I woudn't buy because part of my criteria are conditions should be bullish.
It's a biotech. (Great risk reward when they work buy any hiccup and you can't depend on getting out anywhere close to your stop.)
I like stocks to look good on all time frames.
I don't like to see a lot of overhead.
But that's only my process, I was just curious about yours.

What bought the stock to your attention.
Can you walk me through your thought process.
