Buy gold buy more stocks

I bought some this week - and sold part of it - but would rather wait for monday to buy more. If the debt ceiling issue is not finalised over the week end, market will likely gap down nastily. ES opened -1% and NQ -1.5% over the same issue last sunday

Good call -- I have bought more as well given the vote is soon.

Some see an H&S.

It's difficult to say if this is gonna play out. I have doubts. The Bush tax cuts will expire in 2013 (aka tax hike), then the Obamacare tax hike soon after.

Yes, I am turning bearish as well. Good thing my gold went up more than my stocks went down.

:p

I would not sell short at this point -- there will probably be a relief rally.

AAPL is a lot higher now than when I started my thread. So is GLD or GDX. Still, I think it is time to rethink this strategy and take profits.

sell gold fist, hold on to stocks until the market bounces and get rid of them as well at that point?

Yes, except that I sold all my speculative stocks such as PCLN, and now trade the indices.
