Why does Booty commit a whole year to this process to drop out 36 hours before Super Tuesday. Why not just let his name ride into Super Tuesday and see what happens?

Because the DNC approached him and made him some type of deal to get out and endorse Biden. With him in the race and also Warren and Klobo, Biden's votes get diluted. DNC is going to pick these people off one at a time to prevent Bernie from rolling on. Getting Booty to step aside gives more delegates for Biden as those Booty votes have to go somewhere.

Klobo was not approached or Warren because they are in the basement still and Bloomy is just getting started.

I don't give Biden that much bumbling credit. DNC is running the show here... remember? the same DNC that told Biden to step aside in 2016 and let Hillary have it when the VP almost always runs (not counting Cheney).

Son, I told you from the beginning AA voters choose dem nominees, and more specifically AA women control an outsized portion of that. I further explained South Carolina would be the deciding state - it was true for Obama, it was true for Hillary and it is true for Biden.

My preference was always Amy K. It doesn’t always work out the way you want though.

It was thoroughly explained to you Warren was never going to get anywhere with AA voters and thus not get the nomination. Then it was explained to you how the delegates would work out after this Tuesday but you made no room for objectivity and stuck with a hard line on Warren staying in because she had some money. Money can’t buy you love.
