i have a quick question. after setting up an LLC, do you still have to pay for a business licence each year. and if so, how much is that per year? are there any other costs associated with the trading llc that much be paid each year? thanks...
 
it will depend on the state you live in. each state has their own fees to renew llc's and if licenses are required for your type of business. check with your secretary of state.

I always feel compelled to ask why, when anyone talks about setting up an LLC for trading? It is usually a really bad deal for any professional trader...tax wise and for otherwise.
