So according to Bush, since Osama was allegedly "marginalized", there was no longer any reason to be concerned about him. It's not like he killed 3000 Americans -- oh wait.
Can you imagine the uproar if a sheriff or a district attorney claimed he was no longer concerned about a notorious local murderer on the loose because "hey, it's not likely he'll do it again"? Yet Bush got away with his bullshit and even got reelected after downplaying the hunt for Osama while simultaneously and contradictorily using 9/11 as a "reason" to invade Iraq.
And now he's whining about getting credit for getting Osama! The rational mind boggles at the gall.
