Bush Tax Cuts Extended By Dec. 15th Or Crash?

Tax Cuts to be extended by at least 2 years.

No need for discussion, its going to happen, they do not want to bring uncertainty to this market right before the consumer needs to go out and buy gifts for family and friends. They dont want to ruin the christmas season now so its certain these tax cuts will be extended.

Warren Buffet is a good example although he has now decided to distribute a lot of his money himself and with Bill Gates. Also, I remember reading a story written many years ago how Joe Kennedy felt guilty about his wealth and how he acquired it. I think that led his sons to all become Democrats.

Another reason along the lines of guilt suggests that the rich, not wanting to give away THEIR wealth, work to get government to take from ALL wealthy people and this effort along with the higher taxes they end up paying relieves their conscience of the guilt of being wealthy.

Notice its not just the mega rich who vote for Dems its a slight majority of 200k per year crowd.

Secondly I don't think its guilt. What is stopping the rich from sending extra checks to the US Treasury?

I think the mega rich want higher taxes because it will make it difficult for the smaller firms to get to their level. While the mega wealthy will find a way to pay less anyways.

How many small companies got bailed out? Only those too big to fail got help.
