And look at the other bright side - there are a lot less people waiting to share money. Also, with all the infrastructure destruction and private property destruction - as well as all the human cost, past and future ... it doesn't look like something I'd recommend for other nations.
Remember - it IS a mixed economy - not just isolated Darwinist monetary profit and snapshot account balance. The Iraqis will be hurting for decades to come trying to recoup all the destruction and trauma...
