In other words, it's all opinion. No where in a soldier's contract does it say he/she may refuse to be deployed based on a difference of opinion with the C in C.
It really is this simple - don't join the military unless you're willing to go where you're told to go and do what you're told to do.
You continue to confuse the concepts. The duty of the soldier is to go whereever he is asked to. But this does not give the politicians right to waste the soldiers' lives in useless wars.
Webb is a soldier under Bush's command. He is a representative elected by the people on the promise that he would try to bring the troops home. If Bush does heed voters' wishes, then he does not deserve the respect.
