If I were a conspiracy theorist, I would think that oil prices were a vast left wing conspiracy leading up to the election. Why else would prices drop right after the Democrats take over the House and Senate? Liberals are diabolical.

Gas prices are up about .15/gal in my area since the election. I think the low was within a week before the election.

The average voter doesn't know anything about the price of crude, they only know how much they pay at the pump.

I am in northern California, where are you?

Actually prices are up more like .25. I'm pretty sure I saw prices around $2.15 just before the election, yesterday the lowest I saw was $2.39.
