Charges against rancher Cliven Bundy, three others are dismissed

A federal judge dismissed all charges against rancher Cliven Bundy, his two sons and another man on Monday.

U.S. District Judge Gloria Navarro cited "flagrant prosecutorial misconduct" in her decision to dismiss all charges against the Nevada rancher and three others.

Navarro on Dec. 20 declared a mistrial in the high-profile Bundy case. It was only the latest, stunning development in the saga of the Nevada rancher, and served as a repudiation of the federal government. Navarro accused prosecutors of willfully withholding evidence from Bundy’s lawyers, in violation of the federal Brady rule.

This type of scenario is actually not unrelated to what is going on with Muellerr, Rosenstein and that crew.

The government can screw around and take six months getting documents to Congress but if/when when Manafort, Trump, Jared, etc are charged with anything they have vast, vast rights to government documents to try to prove political bias and the government better damn well produce them or the court will just dismiss the case. If Trump were involved in an obstruction of justice prosecution and his legal team had subpoenaed the dossier material- for example- there would be no six months getting it to them. It would be there, or the case would be dismissed, or there would be court hearings on whether it should be released. Those are the only options. Versus that clown show where Rosenstein just said no he didn't want to do it.

As I have said ad naseum, everything always looks like a big slam dunk for the big swinging prosecutor dicks until the defense team shows up and digs in.

Months and months of prosecuting Senator Menendez, and they got zip. You remember back when Holder went after Obama's political rival, John Edwards, for bilking some old lady out of her money and not declaring it as campaign funds or something? Edwards tried to get a plea deal where there would be no prison time and he would not lose his law license. They government said no, so Edwards took it to trial and was acquitted- the government go zip.

It's always easy as long as the defendant does dig in hard with a big buck defense. The government tends to do well with the low hanging fruit- you nail someone on perjury and get them to plead. Can't wait to see Mueller go after Trump on obstruction but the pussy wont do it. He will kneecap jared and Ivanka for not returning their library books. Frigging pussy.

How is Mueller going to defend his case against the idea that the FBI was out to get Trump from the beginning. The FBI got themselves in a criminal enterprise by paying foreign nationals spies to pay Russians for dirt on an their political opponent.

Mueller and his team won't just have difficulty overcoming reasonable doubt some of them might have to take the fifth when they are called to the stand if they try to prosecute.

The motions that a defense team will be bringing before trial would be some fo the most interesting to draft and argue imaginable.

If Trump and his team have competent lawyers... Mueller has already lost.

In the event that Mueller goes for an obstruction of justice charge, there are two main witnesses.

One is Comey who both Comey and Mueller have publicly admitted have a mentor/mentee relationshion.

The other is Rod Rosenstein because Trump argues that among other things he gave great weight to the fact that even the Justice Department had recommended firing Comey and said so in a letter documentation. That person is Rod Rosenstein- who is also the person who hired Mueller who Mueller reports to ultimately- his independence notwithstanding. How much more conflicted could Mueller possibly be.

And then the twenty other shady characters that we previously mentioned who need to be prosecuted but are either fbi/justice department agents themselves or work with them.
