What you say is all good and well. I don't know whether you hail from the US or not, but if you're trying to 'convert' people, I would go about it in a different way.

Certainly the hate-spewing when it comes to politics here on ET or on other forums most of the time does not bring anyone over to the other side, either way.

I was talking in general about the politicized, hate-spewing, back and forth that goes on in these forums. I wasn't necessarily referring to this thread in particular in that post.

Those that choose to work (not forced) would get time taken off their sentence. Those serving life could have money sent home to family members if they choose. Instead of making license plates, they would build walls. It would also cut down on prison violence.
Again, Im missing the racist part. That seems to be the go-to word with liberals when they lose an argument.

These violent criminals are lucky they live in the best country in the world with the absolute best justice system. Remember when Brittney Griner turned her back on our flag and then criticized our justice system basically because that was the liberal theme of the day? However, it didn't take long for Griner to eat her words when she got a healthy dose of what a true injustice system was all about in Russia. You dont see Griner turning her back on our flag today, thats for damn sure. She has a new appreciation for our country and system of justice.
I digress.
This country does need to build more prisons for our violent thugs. Just this past July 4th weekend 109 people were shot in Chicago alone! 109 !!!! Thats just Chicago. So yeah, build more friggin prisons. Too many violent thugs with no impulse control. Let's stop the usual fake liberal acts of compassion and get down to business.
It is a great economic move by building prisons along our border. I wouldn't get Mexico involved, they are much too corrupt and cannot be trusted.
