You will need to pay more taxes depending upon the prison population in your state.
Put a neighborhood crime watch group in every violent inner city regardless if it's a Republican state or a Democratic state.
More checkpoints at the entry/exits of all violent neighborhoods...metal detectors, random searches, and pat-downs.
Put Snipers on the rooftop of all buildings in violent neighborhoods regardless if it's a Republican state or a Democratic state.

We should build high security prisons for all the white collar thugs as well, you know all those CEOs like Musk who commit blatant insider trading, buying and selling their own shares with their insider knowledge. And politicians who blatantly buy and sell stocks and at the same time vote on bills that directly impact said stocks. Imprison crypto and Ponzi scheme thugs and all that crap that pops up on Facebook marketplace where thugs advertise brand products at 90% off.
Too bad that the middle class does not write laws but an elite that for a long time has stopped representing those that vote for them.
