Buffett's Birkshire Hathaway Owes Taxes Back to 2002

Quote from Lucrum:

You noticed that too huh?

I think everyone noticed it. As usual, AK walked into a thread, got abused by 6 people, and not one person would take his side, yet he still thinks that he is right, even though he has no experience in the matter.

Of course not. When I was much younger the IRS decided I owed them a few hundred dollars and there was no notice, no letter, no phone call. They just took what money was in my bank account leaving my grocery and other such checks to bounce. AK is full of crap.

The only way to get even with the IRS is to move business transactions off the books and wait for the statute of limitations to run out.

Coupla years ago they denied some of my writeoffs and claimed I owed them 21k. I responded with documents showing why my writeoffs were legit but also enclosed a check for 21k to keep the conversation friendly. They ruled in my favor and also found 8k more that they thought I was entitled to. Sent me a check for 29k. :D

Somehow I get the impression AK 47 has never even filed a tax return.

Wouldn't surprise me if you actually believe The IRS seizes bank accounts after 9 months with no warning

Quote from AK Forty Seven:

Lil Wayne falls in deeper tax hole

Platinum-selling hip-hop star Lil Wayne is in town tonight, live at the Palace. Don't be surprised if the IRS is waiting backstage to collect on a brand new $5.6 million tax bill.

The IRS filed the enormous tax lien against him Monday in Miami.

Seems Lil Wayne, real name Dwayne Carter, can't shake the tax man. In December, he paid off a $1.13 million federal tax lien, only to fall even deeper in debt this time.

What's owed:

The IRS filed a $5,610,034 tax lien against Carter on March 28 with the Miami-Dade County Clerk. According to the lien, which you can see below, he owes income taxes from 2008-09.

Boxing great, Floyd Mayweather, is in trouble with IRS…but only for the second time in 3 years. According to RadarOnline:

The IRS has just body slammed the undefeated boxer with a $3.4 million bill, reports the Detroit News who discovered that the lien was for unpaid 2009 federal income taxes.

This isn’t Mayweather’s first time in the ring with the IRS. In 2008, he was hit with a $6.1 million tax bill. He worked out a payment plan with the feds for that one.

The best explanation from ET's conservative retards as to how these guys (and many others)regularly pay their taxes years after they are due is IRS incompetence .

Shows what idiots they are when uneducated thugs like floyd mayweather and lil wayne know more about tax law then they do LOL !!!

Timmy paid back taxes in 2008 for taxes owed as for back as 2001,he was even audited in 2006.No bank seizure ,no jail time

Seems the only people who have their bank accounts seized after 9 months with no warnings are ET conservative idiots

Geithner, now the president of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, has been under fire since it was revealed last week that he did not pay his taxes in full while at the IMF from 2001 to 2004. International organizations such as the IMF are exempted from Social Security taxes, so U.S. citizens who work there are supposed to pay them as if they are self-employed. Geithner did not.

Geithner, who as Treasury secretary would be in charge of the IRS, paid back taxes for 2003 and 2004 after an IRS audit in 2006. Geithner paid further back taxes and interest after similar problems for his 2001 and 2002 returns were discovered during vetting by the Obama team.

In total, Geithner paid $34,023 in back taxes and $8,679 in interest.

To my original point.Timmy only paid 8700 in interest after holding on to the principle for years.Just generalizing but investing the principle at just 10 % a year he would have made more then the 8700 he had to pay in interest. When boxer floyd mayweathers spokesmen was asked why he continually paid his taxes late in a round about way he admitted to doing the same thing
