I cannot tell you how many times we go back to school and mass shooters and parents were aware something was off or fucked up or simply gave their child access to guns (which if is not in violation of the law then we are crazy)...

We have to start punishing parents if there is some clear flags they simply ignored.

Well resisting arrest or fleeing is not punishable by death and I can certainly post numerous black men shot in the back running away unarmed or still shot complying. But if a mass shooter is on site it is amazing how cops suddenly have amazing skills to descalate and take him in without a shoot being fired. It is not a violation of due process to shoot a white or black or purple man if they are armed and killing people. We can all agree on that.

I agree, but I still want to know how all these mass shooters slip through the cracks over and over and over again. Is it incompetence? Poor procedures? Laws that need changing. Or, if we want to go CT, is it by willful intent that they allow it to happen? Whatever the case, it needs to be thoroughly investigated.

There are likely hundreds of possible mass shooters developing at any time so its just a few who slip through.

Means, motive, opportunity. The USA is the world leader in the first two.
