Buckets in IB for multiple strategies

I dont see this "FA Setup" button anywhere on my tws or in options. Perhaps this is dependent on account type. Will call IB later to confirm. And you are right; if i can tag them and see the option legs separately on the ladder that would work for me.

For now i am tilting towards creating another linked account; i wont gain margin effficiencies but reporting will be cleaner.


On a related note: Do you know if in IB you can create/see a year-to-date pnl number by symbol?

a) you need a Advisor account (FA) to have this functionality. But it may be that you can still create groups even with a single U type client account. But that is just a hunch...you would need to inquire with IB about that.

b) yes, you can do all sorts of things, your request included, with the flex reports. Check out "flex reports" at IB's Account Management.

I did play with FLEX reports a bit but couldnt make it print what i want. Will play a bit more.

If you happen to stumble on the options needed to spit yearly pnl per ticker; please do pass them along.
