why don't we just kill anyone close to retirement age without enough savings to live for the next 20 years and pay for medical insurance too. how much is a bullet? we can pass along whatever little the had to there children and give them an amount they need to have for retirement or we handle them like we did the parents.

I think everybody should get food stamps, including Warren Buffet
but don't talk about the USA like it is on the verge of collapse
at anytime, anyday, we can restore fiscal sanity just by eliminating medicare
we choose not to do that because we want to see just what the limits of compassion could be

Yes, this whole contrived plan is utterly despicable. Not only has it created a bond bubble, but most asset classes (commodities, equities included) have also formed a bubble. There is absolutely no correlation any more between the world economy and the value of these instruments. The implosion will happen. Maybe next week, next month, next year.....but when it happens, we will see implosion at a catastrophic level.
i was being sarcastic to you. you seem to be missing the point that most Americans need medicare at retirement. its like you are saying hey lets just cut out eating green apples its bigger than that. i don't think billionaires like buffet should get food stamps. lets agree to disagree.

feeding the world is just small, it could be done today if not yesterday

The net effect though is going to change the country, back to the way it was 100 years ago.

Social services are all that separate us from third world status.
This country was a shitty place to live until about 1910, dont believe the hype.
Why bother building highways? Rich people can afford helicopters and $100K all terrain vehicles. Keep their tax rates low so they can just dominate the masses and have a vast slave pool.
