Regarding the big BTC conference in Nashville, with a lot of prominent guests like Trump, Saylor and of course Hailey Welsh...,

btc starts to make moves again.

One or two big green candles to the upside, and we are free towards +$72k.

But, all this is well known and priced-in. What wasn't priced in later this week were some things such as the further lowering of rates by the BoC.

In any case, I unwinded more of my long-calls at 3:59 pm yesterday. Too much Mt. Gox sellers trying to take profits out there. So I decided to make a preemptive move NOW. I can always sell the others later this year.

Will sit on the cash for a while and hope to get more real estate on the cheap.

You are swapping btc to cash (real estate).

RE might go lower, therefore BTC goes higher.

I could have/ should have sold for a 30x Bagger, but instead was waiting for the 100x bagger, only to get hit by three grey-swans at the same time. German government dumping billions worth on the market, at the same time as Mt. Gox settlement of billions more, and even the US dept. dumping too.

Let's just say... a very old saying of wisdom. A bird in the hand is worth more than...

I am still holding onto 60% of the BTC calls I loaded up on in 2023. They expire early next year. One problem with holding is I'm bleeding out Theta by the day, and there is an unlimited amount of swans that can keep happening.

REIT ETFs have been depressed hard, and commercial REITs practically obliterated by stupid decisions by western governments. The dividends are great, and you get tax deductions you can't get with bonds.

This is the last station before $40K. This is where you sell everything and go short.

Any time there is a a bunch of newcomers to Bitcoin/crypto we get a BIG, nasty dump... I call it the "welcome to crypto" dump. We haven't had one yet. The ETF buyers have yet to had their lesson.

New FOMO suckers need to be taught an important lesson and the lesson is coming sooner rather than later.

Interesting analysis.

Which is based on your observation of fomo & (seemingly) many newbies, rushing in...
and that we must see a dump,
before it goes on,
because that is always the case.

However, looking at the charts, I see something different.


Based on the weekly chart, and the cycle BTC follows since it's start, a trail to a new high should start somewhere around now.


So, this cycle must be broken if you are right.
 
I think Bitcoin will dump after Trump's speech. However, Trump is bringing a special guest, and I think that special guest could have the ability to make the market pump. (Im guessing Elon Musk) So right now I am doing nothing but holding.
 
so say it hits 100k do you realize it still does not buy as much stuff as it did when it was 70k?

the dollar has gone to shit value so you must be smart enough to understand numbers and values are not static.

when i was teen for 25 cents i could buy a burger and a drink. now what it cost?
