Probably actually increase its value.

How? Criminals use it because it's an easy path to move money without being watched by the authorities. If it becomes illegal or difficult then fiat again becomes the better option.

Why would criminals use a publicly traceable means(the BTC blockchain) to move funds globally when there are much better privacy options such as XMR, ZEC etc?

These are some pretty dumb criminals, or perhaps you don't know half of what you think you know.

I thought my answers had some validity. I explained why I valued gold. Of course it is my opinion, the value of anything is based on opinion. What you value deeply may have no value to me.

The value of anything is based on opinion? So 2 trillion in market cap for AAPL is pure opinion? AAPL's cash, branding, R&D have no value? Just opinion right?

Based on your ridiculous answer, I'm not sure if I need to keep this civil anymore.

You on the other hand didn't answer my question of what is the fundamental value of anything? Give me an example of how you perceive fundamental value. Once I know what you are looking for, how you define fundamental value, possibly I'll be able to answer the question to your satisfaction. Probably not though it seems like a how much is enough question.

Don't throw the question back to me because you are unable to provide an answer.

Go ahead and run a DCF to calculate the NPV of gold. We will wait for your answer. LOL.

Traceable how and to what extent, the wallet? Yeah, I'm sure every 3rd world government knows BitCoin tracing.
