Yeah, but apart from the hype and fanfare he was very fast and agile. And the ~3-minute video I posted, while not fancy, was not without charm. :D

Either way the fight is meaningless because who the fuck is Wong Jack Man...no one cares. The story has little significance with respect to the actual fight.

The fight significance is that it sparked the idea of changing his training regiment and endurance. That is all.

Also, the other schools stopped harassing him for teaching outsiders.

Whom has he ever actually fought...? Not including movie BS. And Tarantino has talked to his friends and they all recalled his "Ali" boast.

He sparred with a bunch of 130lb dudes and choreographed shit in films. No different than Chuck Norris or Seagal, just smaller with greater skill. He would get murdered in UFC bantamweight.

There is plenty of quotes from Lee saying he could not beat Ali.

Also Tarantino research for a fictional movie? Several people quoted Bruce Lee as saying what I said above. There is no Bruce Lee quote of him saying he could beat Ali. In fact he idolized Ali and studied his footwork. Watch his movies...where do you think those bouncy steps came from?
 
Let's stop creating a pissing match over something I have not brought up. Chuck Norris was a champion for several years but in those bouts he did not have to land blows to win, just touch or come close. Still think he was great. I don't care who could beat whose ass because these guys did not battle each other.

This thread is not called Lee was best fighter ever and no one was even close.

As for arrogant...SERIOUSLY.. have you seen Mayweather, Jordan, Lennox Lewis, Tyson etc... Who wasn't arrogant?
 
The one inch punch is a thing due to the short range bridging of Wing Chun. It is trained to focus jin force on a point in close space. Does it have the force of a good left hook....of course not.

Yeah, for the fight scene. He thought it was comical that Lee would quote that "lethal weapon" BS all the time. I am glad that he outed his BS.
