The socialists on these threads make out Cuba to be a sunny, tropical paradise with low cost food and medicine. Why aren't all of these Cuba lovers rushing to change their residence to Cuba? Oh wait, Cubans are not allowed on the Internet and capitalist activities like Trading are banned. Maybe some of the fools we no longer hear from in ET did rush down to Cuba to kiss Castro's rear end and chant communist mantras.
I live in CA but I do not get a local newspaper... so I only hear about the big things.
I do believe this is the first rational thing Jerry Brown has done in his current tenure.
It is kind of funny... all of sudden a lefty will break with their parties desire to steal your constitutional rights and do the right thing... when it will really hit him personally.
I wonder how many mags he has. (as I wonder how many mags Sen Reid has.)
I wonder if they are seeking ways ways to exempt democrat politicians?

It shows just how radical the California democrats are when a leftwing zealot like Jerry Brown has to veto a gun confiscation bill.
Why he vetoed it is a fascinating question. Was it because Diane Feinstein told him to? Did they think it was best not to show the rest of the country what she had in mind for them under the term "common sense gun control?"
Or did they fear an unfavorable Supreme Court precedent before Obama can stack the Court with more radical leftists?
