She is currently down 5 to 10 points in ALL the most recent polls. It ain't over till its over but its looking good. Never under estimate the democrats dirty tricks campaigns. At this point they are probably looking through Brown's school work from second grade to see if they can find anything that is racist.

You think Acorn can round up 40,000 blacks and bring them in on busses to vote for Coakley... you know, like they did for Al Franken's seat in Minnesota?

You're a youngster. And the country was quite divided then too. However you seem to be one to the more rational contributors.

I'm 38, not exactly a youngster, but I think I get your meaning.

As for rational, I appreciate the compliment. I try to frame my viewpoints from the position that I am open to pursuasion and change if someone makes a rational argument.

They are all in room somewhere filling out as many absentee ballots as possible.

what time are the results expected?

The polls close at 8pm EST. I have heard that most new organizations did not think there would be a contest so they did not even set up exit polling. It is unlikely anyone will make a projection based on exit polls as a result. We will have to wait for official vote tallies to be released to get an idea which way this thing is going to go. I figure between 10 and 11 pm it will become obvious who will win.

When Ted Kennedy was first elected to the Senate he got voted in and was seated the next day. If Brown wins they ought to seat him tomorrow to honor Ted's memory.

Lol, I thought I already heard the recount (before 1 single vote was ever cast), could take weeks.

Everyone needs to keep the Massachusetts Recount Laws in view.
