Brooks biggest mistake as a teacher

Sorry, but that is flawed reasoning. If it were true, then all of the best and biggest traders would make the intricacies of their approach an open book. Please be sure to let me know when that happens.

it has already happened. John Bollinger is the oldest of such big traders

They can be both. And irrational as well. Although not necessarily all at once. :D The markets are not one-dimensional. And then there is the matter of crowds...

@padutrader
Your success on the 1 minute and lack there of on the 5 minute says one of two things to me:

A lack of patience or a lack of discipline

to find out which it is, try either (or both) of these:

Trade sim playback of a 5 minute chart at 5x speed to find out if it’s a patience issue
Or
Trade the 5 minute chart without looking at the price axis to find out if it’s a discipline issue

being a brooks follower, I’m guessing you acknowledge PA works the same across all timeframes

because Brooks said so
If 1 min is better than 5 min, then why not tick by tick? Should be better than 1 min?

And maybe next month you are going to tell us we should use tick by tick. :D:vomit::p

Welcome back and cheers! We missed you. :)
