Brooks biggest mistake as a teacher

I stopped BASE Jumping in 2014, started in 2003. So I will be around for a while!

So, surviving just fine. Your hopelessness & bitterness are palpable!

One pathetic little life...

PS. Please DO move on, and do us all a favor.

Here is your previous comment

"PS. I am a BASE Jumper, so that should cover the "risk" part..."

At first he is a BASE Jumper (I am) in the present tense

Suddenly, we find that he stopped way back

So which is it Einstein, were you ever a base jumper
or are you a bullshit artist?

Ridiculous pretender either way
Clearly we are done with you.

Once a BASE Jumper, always one. It's the one thing you cannot fake. So I can state that in the present tense, because I am one (and 11 years in one of the most dangerous sports in the world is quite a run).

Clearly, people here are done with YOU!

Lost of excuses

1) I AM a base Jumper
2) on second thought I WAS a base Jumper
3)Actually, once a base jumper ALWAYS a base Jumper

HEEHEHEHEE

This guy has the intelligence of a small French poodle

Your thread shows a very poor mentality. Again, you are hopeless and bitter. Your attitude is terrible. Maybe seek professional help. Seriously?

Dr. Brooks doesn't offer a single testable strategy. An adult, reading his work
or watching the videos or even watching his interviews on YouTube, could
develop a testable strategy. No NDA required then.
Our favorite poster @padutrader tried Brooks for 15 years and lost money. Never able to make Brooks worked. Now he stole a page from my playbook: trading 1 min chart instead. :p

I am testing your teaching. I hope it won't take me 15 years to find out. :D:D:D

Kidding aside, I appreciate everyone who offer trading ideas, tested or not. Maybe, just maybe, out of all those ideas I can develop my day trading holy grail. :strong:

What worked during that era no longer works, like Level 2, with ACTUAL BANKS listed on the Bid/Ask rows. You were like playing poker, but seeing the others hands.

It was great (you could trade off CNBC, FFS). Once I had amassed enough capital, and after 5 years on the desk, I realized that the phase "learning from others" had passed, all future "learning" would be deeply personal. Also, high speed internet made it possible to trade from home. This was around 2003, so it was perfect timing, as I had done my 5 year "tour of duty".

High Speed Internet at home!
Speaking of poker, in one of your posts, you tipped your hands. From that instrument you mentioned, I know, you are a pro and an accomplished investor/trader.

A humble advice: You and @StevenBruce really do not need to beat each other up. You two live in two different world.

A couple years ago I had a 430am bike episode that involved nearly getting hit by a car but in avoiding that I jumped curb and slammed into a wood (luckily not concrete) utility pole. Minor scrapes on my left ear and a concussion. No long term consequences although some here might disagree lol.
Fortunately we in Cali are progressive, building lots of bike lanes to avoid competing with cars.

Why on earth would someone living in Florida getting up at 4:30 am riding a road bike? We Californians have to get up early because of the 3 hrs difference with NYSE.
