Hello,

I am based in the UK and am looking for a good broker with low commisions who will provide me with the facility to open up a Pound Sterling account. The reason for this is that I do not want the exchange rate risk associated with maintaining a USD account.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Also maybe you could advise me on a realistic starting deposit?

I was thinking of somewhere between £10,000 - £20,000. Would that be sufficient to day trade the ES.

Also could someone give me an idea of what good commisions would be so I know for my own seraches.

Velocity Futures, Deep Discount Trading and Vision Financial Markets are 3 that I know which allow Sterling accounts.

Velocity and DDT publish full fee schedules on their websites.
