Brokers with shorts available for penny stocks?

I have lightspeed and love it, except they don't have any shorts available for low priced stocks. (under $10)

It sucks because I really like their platform, the fast executions, and the level 2.

so far all I've seen people suggest are interactive brokers and etrade.

any others? does DAS trader have shorts available?

Interactive broker actually has a public short locator
https://www.interactivebrokers.com/...&ib_entity=&ln=&asset=&f=4587&conf=am&amref=1

So you can see if it has the shares you want to borrow. Its actually really good.

However, from what I can tell, the best one for shorts is TradeZero, they sometimes have hard to borrow fees for some stock shares but they normally have most stocks available

The worst one is TD Ameritrade. Do not even think about that broker if you like shorting.

hmm never heard of velocity capital, their website doesn't really look like a broker.

I have heard of trade zero but they are an offshore broker, which are known to be sketchy.. apparently people have lost a lot of money using those types of brokers.

I use TOS for charting, but yea I would never use TDA for trading lol

It is the tool built into LS trader and Sterling but it require a request to enable it. If you have a salesperson, email them that you want it. If you do not, email support with that request.

FYI-TSLA is just used an an example. It is ETB right now.

wow, that is pretty neat. Have you used this feature in LS before? Like how long does the process take usually? I ask because I am a day trader and so time could be an issue..
