Brokers That Offer Margin Breaks On Calendar Spreads

Hi all,

I am actually asking on behalf of a friend. I clear through a prop firm so get margin breaks on calendar spreads.

But a friend of mine is looking to set up a private trading account and he has told me that all the brokers he has spoken to, AMP, Deep Discount, Velocity all charge calendar spreads at outright margins.

I clear directly through an FCM which requires quite a large initial deposit. But do any of the retail brokers offer good spread margins on a more modest account?

Might be an over discussed topic. Doesn't IBKR offer SPAN margin?

IB adds their house rules to futures margin. So, no, they don't.

IB margin for calendars is still pretty respectable though.
