This is my first post, I just found this board now and I'm amazed with the quality of the posts! Hope I can contribute in a near future with good opinions and suggestions but since I'm new to this "world", I need to ask some basic questions:
1. Could you please list the brokerage/banks that have an API (free or paid) ?
2. Do they allow for commercial/non-commercial but public software?
3. What do I need to do to use them? I see Ameritrade and E*TRADE API but I'm not understanding how I can start with that.
