brokerage with international markets open to EU customers -not IB

Hi

Repeating much of what I wrote in the Tradestation thread but it seems I´d better at least have a look beyond Tradestation-

I´m an overall satisfied customer of IB but have enough funds there to my taste and am looking for another brokerage open to EU based customers, it needs to have access to international markets as I might transfer HK listed positions and cash from Hong Kong banks to this new account (7 digits USD ).

Anyone has feedback to share ? Advice on other brokers that fit the bill ? It´d be to hold long term positions so not overly conscious about commissions, definetely need to be able to fund from Asia and later be able to wire the funds out to a same name account in a different continent, athough there shouldn´t be many withdrawals if at all.

Does anybody use DeGiro with bigger size accounts, and would they accept easily that kind of account size transferred from Asia ? They do offer HK markets, but through MS. I live in Spain and banks are very wary of anything chinese here, so I would have access to De Giro Spain, which doesn´t look good.

Thanks ZB, I checked them years ago and even went to their office in HK, back then decided they were not a great choice, but remember they were pretty big and have an international presence and offering. Might be a decent choice to transfer positions and mostly buy and hold.
Would need to check further but they do look bigger than Degiro, attracting bigger size accounts as well. Anyone opinion on that part ?

Have you thought about going to HSBC or UBS? You can open an international Schwab account at www.schwab.co.uk or from Spain https://international.schwab.com/ This may be a way to get think or swim internationally in 18 months.

HSBC ime (and many others...) is a compliance nightmare. Í´ll check again Schwab, remember their international offering was small though.
Will defo have another look at Saxo, from memory the only issues I had with them wouldn´t be very relevant now

I use https://primexbt.com/. They trade in crypto, forex, commodities, and indicies. They only accept btc and they pay in btc as well. If you want to get paid in cash, I'd go elsewhere but if not this is a great option. Minimum deposit is 0.001 btc, as of today, a little over $10 and a 0.005 btc withdrawl fee and up to 1,000x leverage.
