I don't understand what you are trying to say. I see in today's other posting "Tradestation -- slow" thread, http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&postid=355229#post355229, that you are using TradeStation.
Are you saying SINA and SOHU are not borrowable today ?
In my account, SINA and SOHU are shortable today. Attached is a printout of Tradestation's SINA and SOHU. There is no "HB" designation after them, so they are shortable. In contrast to CYD which does have "HB" designation to show that is hard to borrow today.
