It's times like these... that I wish @destriero was still around.
You know there is a reason why you are the only one (aside from the ones that I put on Ignore) responding to this thread. We have ALL been through this trying to teach him/her about basics about options but he/she is not going to listen because he is dead set on finding faults with others. He is perfect; he is a genius and he can do no wrong. Everything that's wrong is always the other person's fault. It's either the broker or the exchange or the software or the policy or the entire Western society. It's never his fault.
He is either a lonely troll who is just trying to generate traffic for his thread or he's got an ego of ten million universes. The best way is just to ignore him. He's created another thread on the same topic. Do NOT respond to it!!

BECAUSE... they hold the $380, plus whatever else is required to add up to the strike. In this case $380 plus $20
If you had a $100 account, you would be free to do whatever you wanted to with $80.

The guy is a programmer. I saw one of his earlier posts asking Baron if he can advertise his service here on ET and Baron asked him to apply for a Vendor account. He should stick with programming. He's not going to make it in trading. He's doing naked shorts and he has no idea how much he can lose. All it takes is my Infinite Gamma theory to kick in and he's done. I honestly don't want to see another trader fail but it's not up to me.

I had seen some of his other posts a few months back, and the questions were so basic, I kinda figured he was a programmer who knew nothing about the markets or the mechanics thereof, they were so rookie in nature, I didn't even bother to respond. He's been around long enough now that I figured I'd read this post .
He hasn't gotten any smarter. He should probably get a job with FIVR or something, one of those places that hire coders from wherever in the world their basement resides... because his dumb ass is gonna get eaten alive playing stocks.
LOL He put me on Ignore and blocked me so I don't see his messages. I am not going to bother to log off to read his crap. I can pretty much guess what his responses are. This is what he does to every single person that's ever advised him. He creates threads with his problems and his questions so people answer him telling him it's his problem and what he needs to do to resolve the issue and that's not what he wants to hear so he puts them on Ignore and blocks them. LOL The problem is not the fact that he's a rookie. Everybody starts off as a rookie. The problem is he doesn't listen. In his earlier posts, he was looking to do vertical spreads and now he's doing naked shorts?
Oh well I guess he will learn soon enough...
